YouCare by SuperCruZe Technologies

Welcome to YouCare, a parental control application developed by SuperCruZe Technologies Private Limited ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the YouCare Parent App or Child App (collectively, the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, using the App, or digitally signing these Terms, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, are a parent or legal guardian, and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. These Terms govern your use of the App and any updates or features we may provide in future.

Description of Service

YouCare consists of two modules:

  • Parent App: Allows parents to monitor and manage their child’s device usage, including but not limited to screen time, app activity, location, and call records.
  • Child App: Collects and securely transmits device usage data to the Parent App via our secure servers.

The App is designed to help parents promote healthy digital habits for their children. Features may vary based on device compatibility and updates.

Parent Responsibilities

You agree to use the App responsibly, respecting your child’s privacy and using monitoring features only as permitted by law. You must obtain consent from any other parent or guardian if required by applicable law. You remain solely responsible for the decisions and actions taken based on the platform's tools. You acknowledge that YouCare is not a substitute for active parenting or supervision.

Child Device Usage

You confirm that you have the authority to install the Child App and monitor the child’s device.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at support@supercruzetech.com if you suspect unauthorized access or compromised credentials.

Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate information during registration and keep it updated by contacting support@supercruzetech.com.

Privacy and Data Collection

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy (available at www.supercruzetech.com/privacy-policy), which details how we collect, store, and process data, including children’s device usage data (e.g., location, app usage, or call logs). By agreeing to these Terms, you consent to our data practices as outlined in the Privacy Policy. We use secure data storage and transmission protocols adhering to industry-standard encryption.

License to Use the App

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute the App without our written consent.

Code of Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for illegal purposes or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to bypass the App’s security features or access unauthorized data.
  • Use the App to monitor any individual without their consent or legal authorization.
  • Share, sell, or misuse data collected through the App.

Subscription and Licensing

Features of YouCare require a subscription. Details of subscription plans, including pricing and billing, are available at https://blog.supercruzetech.com/4-youcare-pricing-plans and on our website. We reserve the right to modify fees without prior notice. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

All materials and software provided via YouCare (YouCare Parent App, YouCare Child App and services) are the intellectual property of SuperCruZe Technologies and must not be copied, modified, or redistributed without written consent.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, or at our discretion with notice. You may terminate your account by contacting us at support@supercruzetech.com.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SuperCruZe Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, except as required by law.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Modifications of Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

YOUCARE – CHILD MODULE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS (For Digital Acceptance by Child User)

Platform: YouCare by SuperCruZe Technologies
Applies To: Children using the YouCare Child App (ages 2–18)

1. Purpose of the App

YouCare Child App is designed to help children stay safe, focused, and protected while using digital devices. The app guides children to use their phone responsibly and supports healthy habits with the help of their parents or guardians.

2. Your Agreement

By tapping “I Agree,” you confirm that:

  • You authorise SCZ to collect, store, and process your data with your parent & SCZ's partners to provide its services.
  • You have read and understood these terms (with help from a parent/guardian if needed).
  • You agree to follow the rules of YouCare Child App.
  • You give permission for the app to work on your device as described here.
  • You agree to all the conditions of SCZ by using this app.

3. Your Responsibilities

Use the app honestly and do not try to disable, delete, or bypass it. Follow the time limits and rules set by your parent/guardian. Attempting to remove or bypass YouCare may cause loss of access to certain features and send notifications to your parent/guardian.

4. Device Access Permissions

To work properly, the Child App may ask for permission to:

  • Track app usage
  • Block specific apps (as desired by parents)
  • Display screen overlays
  • Access notifications
  • Control screen time
  • Run in the background
  • Restrict certain system settings

You allow the app to use these features for your safety and better digital wellbeing and grant all necessary permissions.

5. Information the App Collects

The App may collect:

  • Which apps you use and for how long
  • Screen time data
  • Attempted access to blocked apps
  • Device usage patterns
  • In-app actions
  • Personal chats, photos, videos, messages or call content (as permitted)

Your information is shared only with your parent/guardian, SuperCruZe Technologies, and Partners for providing services.

6. Data Privacy & Security

SuperCruZe Technologies ensures that your data is stored safely and securely. No information is sold to advertisers or any third party. Your data is used only for protection, app improvement, and analysis. You can request deletion of your data anytime through your parent/guardian's request to SCZ via support@supercruzetech.com.

7. Behaviour Guidelines

You agree not to attempt to uninstall the app without parent's permission.

8. Notifications & Alerts to Parents

The app may send screen-blocking notifications, device usage summaries, safety alerts, and movement alerts to parents. You agree these messages are part of your digital safety plan.

9. Rewards

Parents can grant positive habit rewards such as screen time extensions. Rewards may be reset if the app is tampered with or disabled.

10. Modifications & Updates

SuperCruZe Technologies may update features for safety improvements, change visuals, fix bugs, add protection tools, or modify the App. Updates may be installed after prompting you to update the app.

11. Limited Use Warranty

The app is designed for digital safety, healthy screen habits, child wellbeing, blocking harmful content, and monitoring activity. Continuous connection depends on device and network.

12. Suspension of Access to Device

Access to the device may be suspended if the app detects tampering or unauthorized removal, if device settings are changed to bypass monitoring, or if a parent/guardian requests suspension.

13. Termination of Use

YouCare Child App may be removed when a parent/guardian chooses to stop the service or if the device becomes incompatible.

15. Final Consent

By Agreeing, you confirm that you understand the app's purpose, agree to follow the rules, accept that your device usage will be monitored by your parent/guardian, and accept the conditions stated above.
